SP: What made y'all decide to do a football-themed appreciation box instead of the usual gift around the holidays?

HG: We felt like it was something that would stand out and be a little different. It was unique, and we’ve heard great things from our clients about the boxes.

SP: How did this project reflect your company culture or the type of relationships you have with your clients?

HG: It shows we’re a fun company and that we love football. While we’re a serious team at the office, we also know how to enjoy Saturdays in the fall, being in the heart of the SEC and college football.

SP: Was there an item that became a favorite or got the biggest reaction from your recipients?

HG: Different folks liked different things. Personally, I liked the leather football the most. Several said they appreciated the BBQ kit and have already put it to work.

SP: Did you notice any boost in client engagement or conversations after sending these boxes out?

HG: We proactively heard from several of our clients who got the boxes and sent us photos of them using the BBQ kit, throwing the ball or with the SEC schedule on their desk.

SP: Did the process meet your expectations in terms of creativity, communication, and execution?

HG: Absolutely, Showpony was great to work with as always. They do a great job. Everything was on time, packaged perfectly, and executed just as requested.

SP: Would you consider doing another themed box in the future, and if so, what might you want to try next?

HG: Yes! It’s going to be hard to top this one, but we’re thinking about it and going to rely on Showpony to come up with an even better idea next time!

It was immensely fun working with Houston on this project, and we even got some light-hearted football rivalry jabs in along the way. Client appreciation boxes don’t have to be limited to being given out around the holidays. Frankly, if you want your company to stand out, doing something like this tailgate box is the way to set yourself apart from your competitors. The next time you want to do something for your clients, customers, and/or employees, let Showpony help you be the MANE attraction.
