Showpony is an independent branded merch machine based in Augusta, Georgia. We’re born from a heavy design background and love to make beautiful promotional products that help positively promote our customers’ businesses. We like to have a good time and we’re big fans of over-delivering. We are creative problem solvers. We have a unique relationship with Wier / Stewart, a full-service ad agency and creative firm that operates as our parent company (with shared resources) and is a pipeline for leads and new accounts.
About the Role
We are looking for motivated Outside Sales Representatives (aka Account Executives) who are driven by the excitement of building customer relationships and are motivated by the opportunity to earn an excellent income. You will sell corporate logo apparel, workwear, company merch and promotional products - customized with your customers' brands, logos, and messages. You will build your book of customers by capitalizing on existing relationships, prospecting and cold-calling. You'll be responsible for providing our Client Service Team with APPROVED Sales Orders and Mock-Ups. From there, your Showpony CSR will shepherd your project through delivery to the client. This role can be local in Augusta, Georgia or fully remote.
About You
First, you have a proven track record selling these products. Please apply ONLY if you have experience selling company logo apparel, work clothing, promotional products, and advertising specialty products.
Second, you enjoy prospecting and cold calling. But, you aren't too sales-y. You thrive on engaging potential clients both on the phone and in person. You are excited by building your own successful book of business – and growing your own income and uncapped commissions.
Third, you are highly confident you can hit a sales goal of $500K. You know you have the connections and the experience to bring home this kind of bacon. You get this done and everyone wins. You beat it and we’re golden.
And fourth, you know your way around some marketing tools like Mailchimp, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Compensation
This is a base + commission role. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will earn 10% commission (of Gross Margin) on your book of business. Some stipulations apply.

• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Bonus Points if you are already familiar or trained on the CommonSku platform.
